Een van de mooiste lessen van reizen is leren wat je écht nodig hebt. Vaak blijkt dat veel minder te zijn dan je denkt. Overzicht helpt om dat te ontdekken. Goedemorgen,
Helaas gestrand in het dorpje Tamri gisteren voor Agadir, weliswaar in de bergen tegenover een [e-1f54c] en bij een Hotel. Accu gedoe bij een huurauto gehuurd in Marrakesh is nog niet zo eenvoudig te verhelpen en na vele toezeggingen en een halve dag later is het euvel verholpen, toen maar blijven [e-1f6cc] in het Hotelletje zonder WiFi en nog met een laken/deken ipv een dekbed, lekker terug in de tijd! De medewerkers in het hotel spreken bijna allen Arabisch, de Franstalige dame mag de bestelling opnemen en communiceren met de gasten. Men loopt hier in de dorpen voornamelijk gesluierd en de mannen in een djellaba met daaronder gewoon een broek en shirt! Ook laat men zich in de bergen ook vervoeren door ezels, heel apart als je de bevolking dan in amazone zit de bergen af ziet dalen…
Nu in Agadir aangekomen voor een dagje aan het strand alvorens wij morgen richting woestijn rijden!

Rond de klok van twaalf vertrokken naar wat ik vernomen het schilderachtige vissersplaatsje
Essaouira!
Een trip van ca 300 km richting de Atlantische kust…
Du moment dat je Marrakech verlaten hebt kom je weer in een heel andere wereld!
Voor zover je kan zien olijfbomen en fabriekjes waar de Arganolie wordt geproduceerd…
Veel landarbeiders die zich laten vervoeren door paarden en ezels, hier worden deze edele dieren nog veelvuldig gebruikt als lastdieren! Alsof de tijd hier geen rol heeft gespeeld…
Ook heb ik gezien dat een groep van zeven zwerfhonden zomaar een weg oversteekt! Onvoorstelbaar…
Een prachtig plaatje was toch wel de geiten in de Arganbomen die daar zelf heen geklommen zijn, dit
was geen levende kerststal maar een levende kerstboom!
in Essaouira aangekomen viel het ons meteen op dat van klein en schilderachtig geen sprake is!
Aan de haven aan de Atlantische op een rooftop nog een heerlijk drankje gedaan en vervolgens richting het typisch Marokkaans ingerichte hotelletje..
Een toch grote badplaats a la Scheveningen of Knokke met enorm veel lawaai door het verkeer dus van slapen is niet veel terecht gekomen voor mij terwijl mijn reisgenoot heerlijk lag te ronken, Grrr.. Bah
Nu, vandaag even een visje eten aan de haven en morgen richting Agadir!

Mooie dingen gezien maar ook tragische zoals een slangenbezweerder en aapjes kijken!
Maar de grote bergen fruit en olijven, knuffels en kleding maakt een hoop goed!
Rijen drivers wachtend op toeristen die graag een ritje willen maken door de immens

Waar zijn we nu weer in terecht gekomen?
Na een voorspoedige reis vanaf Schiphol, geen wachttijden
kwamen we na een kleine vertraging aan in het nagenoeg lege
vliegveld in Marrakech.
Lekker temperatuurtje ca. 22 graden en de duisternis is al ingetreden…
Hoe gemakkelijk de procedures in Nederland waren, in Marokko ging het
ietsje anders! Lange wachtrijen en rare vragen zoals wat komt u doen en wat
is uw beroep? Gezondheidsverklaring invullen die vervolgens niet wordt gecheckt?
Eindelijk in ons Hotel Racine aangekomen…
Even uitblazen en op zoek naar een geschikt eettentje, dit was nog niet zo eenvoudig!
Veel ijstenten of niet geschikt…
Toen viel ons oog op een mooi terras met een nog mooiere wijnkaart!
Op het terras mocht geen wijn geproefd worden dus werden wij verbannen naar de achterkamer waar
het natuurlijk nog veel gezelliger was!
Het moet niet gekker worden…

We hebben gisteren de stad Fes bezocht. Grote stad waar je makkelijk kan verdwalen. Heeft kleine Pleintjes niet zoals Marrakech. Veel straatjes met dezelfde spullen kleding, koper, kleding en spullen voor trouwerij. We hebben lokaal geluncht en veel gezien. Leerlooienrij, stoffen geweven worden en pottenbakker en mozaïek makers.
Rond 4 uur terug in hotel. Massage gepakt tegenover het hotel.
Vandaag om 7 uur transport naar de watervallen Ouzoud, we kwamen er aan rond 2 uur. Watervallen waren leuk om te zien maar weet niet of het 9 uur rijden waard was. We waren rond half 9 in hotel in marrakesh. In de avond afscheid genomen van de 2 Italiaanse vrienden. Samen gegeten bij de sushi tent.

[message] => We zijn gisteren vroeg vertrokken naar chefchaouen. Dit is een klein stadje in de bergen, alles is in blauw geschilderd. (indigo). Tour gehad en wezen lunchen. Dik uur moeten wachten op eten en drinken. Maar was een lekkere taco(soort borito).
Daarna 5 uur gereden naar Rabat via Tanger.
Kwamen laat aan in Rabat. We zaten lekker te eten. Liep een vervelende man rond bij andere café. Werd steeds weg gestuurd, kreeg ook klappen. Even later stond hij naast szandor voor eten te schooien, szandor duwde hem met 1 hand weg en kreeg later weer klappen van andere.
Vandaag rondleiding gehad in oude rabat. Paleis en wat heilige gebouwen. In Rabat staat ook een bekende moskee die nooit is afgewerkt.
We zijn nu weer onderweg naar Meknes. Hier krijgen we een rondleiding en na de lunch rijden we door naar Fes.
Meknes is een oude stad wat vroeger de hoofdstad was. Er staan 3 vestigings muren om de oude stad heen. Leuke medina.
Daarna zijn we naar oude Romeinse ruïnes van Volubilis geweest. Erg indrukwekkend. En toen naar Fes gereden. We waren rond half 9 in het hotel

[message] => Gisteren zijn we vertrokken naar Casablanca, ongeveer 3 uur rit. Zoals in de naam witehuizen, dat zijn bijna allemaal. Ze hebben een deel Marokkaanse huizen maar ook invloeden van Franse huizen, daar zijn wel bakonnen. De Marokkaanse huizen hebben dat niet, vanwege privacy. Op zich een oke stad voor 1 dag. We zijn in de moskee Hassan 2e geweest. Dat is de enigste moskee in marokko waar je als tourist in mag, alleen schouders en knieën moesten bedekt zijn, geen hoofddoek verplicht. En 3e na grootste moskee ter wereld. Was de 2e maar er is 1 gebouwd in de afgelopen tijd in Arabië die net groter is. Erg mooie moskee aan de buitenkant an binnenkant.
Voor de rest weinig te beleven voor touristen.
Vandaag met de trein van Casablanca naar Tanger. 2 uur en 10 minuten met de hoge snelheidstrein. Ziet er erg netjes uit.
De gids die we hadden was oke. Het leek te vaak dat hij het zo op las uit een boekje.
Er mooie stad Tanger. Heeft ook een medina. (oude stad) vele leuke winkels met eigen gemaakte tapijten in allerlei kleuren en maten. Niet te opdringerige mensen.

Oudste moskee van dichtbij gezien, die op bijna alle foto's staat. Niet te missen dus.
Tuinen bekeken in moderne marrakesh.
Terug in hotel lekker gebakje gegeten. Nou ja was bij de eennalaatste framboos en draaide die om, zat er een rups in. Heb ik weer. Kreeg ik een ander gebakje, dit keer maar zonder fruit uit gekozen.

[message] => Zondag avond laat aangekomen in hotel. Maandag wat oude restaurant/cafés bezocht die we 5 jaar geleden ook bezocht hebben.
Jammer genoeg was 1 restaurant er niet meer. Maar de rest hebben we gevonden. Veel veranderd in Marrakech. Prijzen zijn erg gestegen. Maar de restaurants zijn ook aardig gemoderniseerd. Gelukkig kennen ze nu ook thee zonder suiker en honing. Nog altijd de lekkere Marokkaanse pannenkoeken. En de lekkere tajine. Op El fnaa is het nog altijd behoorlijk druk in de avond. Jammer genoeg nog steeds de aapjes eb slangen.
Morgen begint onze tour. Nog 2 dagen Marrakech en dan gaan we naar casablanca.

[message] => In de loop van de ochtend is er heel hectische bedrijvigheid, Om ons goed voor te bereiden op de douane op het vliegveld, moeten de eigenaren van de campers een verklaring op zak hebben, dat de camper achter blijft, het kenteken is gekoppeld aan het paspoort. Dit is een belangrijke zaak en er verschijnen kleine kantoortjes op de campingtafels, waar de kopieen van groene kaart, kentekenbewijs, paspoort en inklaringsbewijs aan de aanvraag wordt geniet. Reisbegeleider Gerard gaat met Mohammed naar de Douane en komt terug met 84 geldige verklaringen.
Onderhand zijn RB –ers Ton, Henk en Johan op verzoek van de manager lokaties gaan controleren op de mogelijkheid om 84 campers te stallen.
Na weer een conference- call met het Crisis-team NKC is het besluit gevallen: de 84 campers vertrekken in 2 dagdelen naar Camping Relais de Marrakech, enkele kilometers verderop. Dat betekende in enkele uren opruimen en verkassen.
Gefaseerd vertrokken de campers en kregen hun definitieve locatie. Onder de bomen bij het mooie zwembad hadden we weer een restjes – bijeenkomst, zelfs met gehatballetjes van Melis en 2 lekkere stukken kaas en worst en alcoholische versnaperingen.
Ook nu was het bij velen BBQ-time!

[message] => De reisbegeleiding heeft iedereen geadviseerd om over de tolweg terug te gaan naar Camping Ferdaous in Marrakech, waar de verzamelplaats van de 84 campers was.
De goed aangelegde weg van Agadir naar Marrakesh doet ons snel rijden, half 2 arriveerden we, de een na de andere camper komt de camping oprijden, en zoekt zijn eigen groep op. Wetende dat we de vriezer/koelkast moesten leeg eten hebben er veel reisgenoten de BBQ neergezet en de laatste waszakken worden door Abdul in ontvangst genomen. Er is bedrijvigheid alom, en Abdul verkoopt graag grote tassen aan de deelnemers.

Goedemorgen,
Helaas gestrand in het dorpje Tamri gisteren voor Agadir, weliswaar in de bergen tegenover een [e-1f54c] en bij een Hotel. Accu gedoe bij een huurauto gehuurd in Marrakesh is nog niet zo eenvoudig te verhelpen en na vele toezeggingen en een halve dag later is het euvel verholpen, toen maar blijven [e-1f6cc] in het Hotelletje zonder WiFi en nog met een laken/deken ipv een dekbed, lekker terug in de tijd! De medewerkers in het hotel spreken bijna allen Arabisch, de Franstalige dame mag de bestelling opnemen en communiceren met de gasten. Men loopt hier in de dorpen voornamelijk gesluierd en de mannen in een djellaba met daaronder gewoon een broek en shirt! Ook laat men zich in de bergen ook vervoeren door ezels, heel apart als je de bevolking dan in amazone zit de bergen af ziet dalen…
Nu in Agadir aangekomen voor een dagje aan het strand alvorens wij morgen richting woestijn rijden!

Essaouira!
Een trip van ca 300 km richting de Atlantische kust…
Du moment dat je Marrakech verlaten hebt kom je weer in een heel andere wereld!
Voor zover je kan zien olijfbomen en fabriekjes waar de Arganolie wordt geproduceerd…
Veel landarbeiders die zich laten vervoeren door paarden en ezels, hier worden deze edele dieren nog veelvuldig gebruikt als lastdieren! Alsof de tijd hier geen rol heeft gespeeld…
Ook heb ik gezien dat een groep van zeven zwerfhonden zomaar een weg oversteekt! Onvoorstelbaar…
Een prachtig plaatje was toch wel de geiten in de Arganbomen die daar zelf heen geklommen zijn, dit
was geen levende kerststal maar een levende kerstboom!
in Essaouira aangekomen viel het ons meteen op dat van klein en schilderachtig geen sprake is!
Aan de haven aan de Atlantische op een rooftop nog een heerlijk drankje gedaan en vervolgens richting het typisch Marokkaans ingerichte hotelletje..
Een toch grote badplaats a la Scheveningen of Knokke met enorm veel lawaai door het verkeer dus van slapen is niet veel terecht gekomen voor mij terwijl mijn reisgenoot heerlijk lag te ronken, Grrr.. Bah
Nu, vandaag even een visje eten aan de haven en morgen richting Agadir!

Mooie dingen gezien maar ook tragische zoals een slangenbezweerder en aapjes kijken!
Maar de grote bergen fruit en olijven, knuffels en kleding maakt een hoop goed!
Rijen drivers wachtend op toeristen die graag een ritje willen maken door de immens

Waar zijn we nu weer in terecht gekomen?
Na een voorspoedige reis vanaf Schiphol, geen wachttijden
kwamen we na een kleine vertraging aan in het nagenoeg lege
vliegveld in Marrakech.
Lekker temperatuurtje ca. 22 graden en de duisternis is al ingetreden…
Hoe gemakkelijk de procedures in Nederland waren, in Marokko ging het
ietsje anders! Lange wachtrijen en rare vragen zoals wat komt u doen en wat
is uw beroep? Gezondheidsverklaring invullen die vervolgens niet wordt gecheckt?
Eindelijk in ons Hotel Racine aangekomen…
Even uitblazen en op zoek naar een geschikt eettentje, dit was nog niet zo eenvoudig!
Veel ijstenten of niet geschikt…
Toen viel ons oog op een mooi terras met een nog mooiere wijnkaart!
Op het terras mocht geen wijn geproefd worden dus werden wij verbannen naar de achterkamer waar
het natuurlijk nog veel gezelliger was!
Het moet niet gekker worden…

We hebben gisteren de stad Fes bezocht. Grote stad waar je makkelijk kan verdwalen. Heeft kleine Pleintjes niet zoals Marrakech. Veel straatjes met dezelfde spullen kleding, koper, kleding en spullen voor trouwerij. We hebben lokaal geluncht en veel gezien. Leerlooienrij, stoffen geweven worden en pottenbakker en mozaïek makers.
Rond 4 uur terug in hotel. Massage gepakt tegenover het hotel.
Vandaag om 7 uur transport naar de watervallen Ouzoud, we kwamen er aan rond 2 uur. Watervallen waren leuk om te zien maar weet niet of het 9 uur rijden waard was. We waren rond half 9 in hotel in marrakesh. In de avond afscheid genomen van de 2 Italiaanse vrienden. Samen gegeten bij de sushi tent.

[message] => We zijn gisteren vroeg vertrokken naar chefchaouen. Dit is een klein stadje in de bergen, alles is in blauw geschilderd. (indigo). Tour gehad en wezen lunchen. Dik uur moeten wachten op eten en drinken. Maar was een lekkere taco(soort borito).
Daarna 5 uur gereden naar Rabat via Tanger.
Kwamen laat aan in Rabat. We zaten lekker te eten. Liep een vervelende man rond bij andere café. Werd steeds weg gestuurd, kreeg ook klappen. Even later stond hij naast szandor voor eten te schooien, szandor duwde hem met 1 hand weg en kreeg later weer klappen van andere.
Vandaag rondleiding gehad in oude rabat. Paleis en wat heilige gebouwen. In Rabat staat ook een bekende moskee die nooit is afgewerkt.
We zijn nu weer onderweg naar Meknes. Hier krijgen we een rondleiding en na de lunch rijden we door naar Fes.
Meknes is een oude stad wat vroeger de hoofdstad was. Er staan 3 vestigings muren om de oude stad heen. Leuke medina.
Daarna zijn we naar oude Romeinse ruïnes van Volubilis geweest. Erg indrukwekkend. En toen naar Fes gereden. We waren rond half 9 in het hotel

[message] => Gisteren zijn we vertrokken naar Casablanca, ongeveer 3 uur rit. Zoals in de naam witehuizen, dat zijn bijna allemaal. Ze hebben een deel Marokkaanse huizen maar ook invloeden van Franse huizen, daar zijn wel bakonnen. De Marokkaanse huizen hebben dat niet, vanwege privacy. Op zich een oke stad voor 1 dag. We zijn in de moskee Hassan 2e geweest. Dat is de enigste moskee in marokko waar je als tourist in mag, alleen schouders en knieën moesten bedekt zijn, geen hoofddoek verplicht. En 3e na grootste moskee ter wereld. Was de 2e maar er is 1 gebouwd in de afgelopen tijd in Arabië die net groter is. Erg mooie moskee aan de buitenkant an binnenkant.
Voor de rest weinig te beleven voor touristen.
Vandaag met de trein van Casablanca naar Tanger. 2 uur en 10 minuten met de hoge snelheidstrein. Ziet er erg netjes uit.
De gids die we hadden was oke. Het leek te vaak dat hij het zo op las uit een boekje.
Er mooie stad Tanger. Heeft ook een medina. (oude stad) vele leuke winkels met eigen gemaakte tapijten in allerlei kleuren en maten. Niet te opdringerige mensen.

Oudste moskee van dichtbij gezien, die op bijna alle foto's staat. Niet te missen dus.
Tuinen bekeken in moderne marrakesh.
Terug in hotel lekker gebakje gegeten. Nou ja was bij de eennalaatste framboos en draaide die om, zat er een rups in. Heb ik weer. Kreeg ik een ander gebakje, dit keer maar zonder fruit uit gekozen.

[message] => Zondag avond laat aangekomen in hotel. Maandag wat oude restaurant/cafés bezocht die we 5 jaar geleden ook bezocht hebben.
Jammer genoeg was 1 restaurant er niet meer. Maar de rest hebben we gevonden. Veel veranderd in Marrakech. Prijzen zijn erg gestegen. Maar de restaurants zijn ook aardig gemoderniseerd. Gelukkig kennen ze nu ook thee zonder suiker en honing. Nog altijd de lekkere Marokkaanse pannenkoeken. En de lekkere tajine. Op El fnaa is het nog altijd behoorlijk druk in de avond. Jammer genoeg nog steeds de aapjes eb slangen.
Morgen begint onze tour. Nog 2 dagen Marrakech en dan gaan we naar casablanca.

[message] => In de loop van de ochtend is er heel hectische bedrijvigheid, Om ons goed voor te bereiden op de douane op het vliegveld, moeten de eigenaren van de campers een verklaring op zak hebben, dat de camper achter blijft, het kenteken is gekoppeld aan het paspoort. Dit is een belangrijke zaak en er verschijnen kleine kantoortjes op de campingtafels, waar de kopieen van groene kaart, kentekenbewijs, paspoort en inklaringsbewijs aan de aanvraag wordt geniet. Reisbegeleider Gerard gaat met Mohammed naar de Douane en komt terug met 84 geldige verklaringen.
Onderhand zijn RB –ers Ton, Henk en Johan op verzoek van de manager lokaties gaan controleren op de mogelijkheid om 84 campers te stallen.
Na weer een conference- call met het Crisis-team NKC is het besluit gevallen: de 84 campers vertrekken in 2 dagdelen naar Camping Relais de Marrakech, enkele kilometers verderop. Dat betekende in enkele uren opruimen en verkassen.
Gefaseerd vertrokken de campers en kregen hun definitieve locatie. Onder de bomen bij het mooie zwembad hadden we weer een restjes – bijeenkomst, zelfs met gehatballetjes van Melis en 2 lekkere stukken kaas en worst en alcoholische versnaperingen.
Ook nu was het bij velen BBQ-time!

[message] => De reisbegeleiding heeft iedereen geadviseerd om over de tolweg terug te gaan naar Camping Ferdaous in Marrakech, waar de verzamelplaats van de 84 campers was.
De goed aangelegde weg van Agadir naar Marrakesh doet ons snel rijden, half 2 arriveerden we, de een na de andere camper komt de camping oprijden, en zoekt zijn eigen groep op. Wetende dat we de vriezer/koelkast moesten leeg eten hebben er veel reisgenoten de BBQ neergezet en de laatste waszakken worden door Abdul in ontvangst genomen. Er is bedrijvigheid alom, en Abdul verkoopt graag grote tassen aan de deelnemers.

Goedemorgen,
Helaas gestrand in het dorpje Tamri gisteren voor Agadir, weliswaar in de bergen tegenover een [e-1f54c] en bij een Hotel. Accu gedoe bij een huurauto gehuurd in Marrakesh is nog niet zo eenvoudig te verhelpen en na vele toezeggingen en een halve dag later is het euvel verholpen, toen maar blijven [e-1f6cc] in het Hotelletje zonder WiFi en nog met een laken/deken ipv een dekbed, lekker terug in de tijd! De medewerkers in het hotel spreken bijna allen Arabisch, de Franstalige dame mag de bestelling opnemen en communiceren met de gasten. Men loopt hier in de dorpen voornamelijk gesluierd en de mannen in een djellaba met daaronder gewoon een broek en shirt! Ook laat men zich in de bergen ook vervoeren door ezels, heel apart als je de bevolking dan in amazone zit de bergen af ziet dalen…
Nu in Agadir aangekomen voor een dagje aan het strand alvorens wij morgen richting woestijn rijden!

Essaouira!
Een trip van ca 300 km richting de Atlantische kust…
Du moment dat je Marrakech verlaten hebt kom je weer in een heel andere wereld!
Voor zover je kan zien olijfbomen en fabriekjes waar de Arganolie wordt geproduceerd…
Veel landarbeiders die zich laten vervoeren door paarden en ezels, hier worden deze edele dieren nog veelvuldig gebruikt als lastdieren! Alsof de tijd hier geen rol heeft gespeeld…
Ook heb ik gezien dat een groep van zeven zwerfhonden zomaar een weg oversteekt! Onvoorstelbaar…
Een prachtig plaatje was toch wel de geiten in de Arganbomen die daar zelf heen geklommen zijn, dit
was geen levende kerststal maar een levende kerstboom!
in Essaouira aangekomen viel het ons meteen op dat van klein en schilderachtig geen sprake is!
Aan de haven aan de Atlantische op een rooftop nog een heerlijk drankje gedaan en vervolgens richting het typisch Marokkaans ingerichte hotelletje..
Een toch grote badplaats a la Scheveningen of Knokke met enorm veel lawaai door het verkeer dus van slapen is niet veel terecht gekomen voor mij terwijl mijn reisgenoot heerlijk lag te ronken, Grrr.. Bah
Nu, vandaag even een visje eten aan de haven en morgen richting Agadir!

Mooie dingen gezien maar ook tragische zoals een slangenbezweerder en aapjes kijken!

Waar zijn we nu weer in terecht gekomen?
Na een voorspoedige reis vanaf Schiphol, geen wachttijden
kwamen we na een kleine vertraging aan in het nagenoeg lege
vliegveld in Marrakech.
Lekker temperatuurtje ca. 22 graden en de duisternis is al ingetreden…
Hoe gemakkelijk de procedures in Nederland waren, in Marokko ging het
ietsje anders! Lange wachtrijen en rare vragen zoals wat komt u doen en wat
is uw beroep? Gezondheidsverklaring invullen die vervolgens niet wordt gecheckt?
Eindelijk in ons Hotel Racine aangekomen…
Even uitblazen en op zoek naar een geschikt eettentje, dit was nog niet zo eenvoudig!
Veel ijstenten of niet geschikt…
Toen viel ons oog op een mooi terras met een nog mooiere wijnkaart!
Op het terras mocht geen wijn geproefd worden dus werden wij verbannen naar de achterkamer waar
het natuurlijk nog veel gezelliger was!
Het moet niet gekker worden…

We hebben gisteren de stad Fes bezocht. Grote stad waar je makkelijk kan verdwalen. Heeft kleine Pleintjes niet zoals Marrakech. Veel straatjes met dezelfde spullen kleding, koper, kleding en spullen voor trouwerij. We hebben lokaal geluncht en veel gezien. Leerlooienrij, stoffen geweven worden en pottenbakker en mozaïek makers.
Rond 4 uur terug in hotel. Massage gepakt tegenover het hotel.
Vandaag om 7 uur transport naar de watervallen Ouzoud, we kwamen er aan rond 2 uur. Watervallen waren leuk om te zien maar weet niet of het 9 uur rijden waard was. We waren rond half 9 in hotel in marrakesh. In de avond afscheid genomen van de 2 Italiaanse vrienden. Samen gegeten bij de sushi tent.

[message] => We zijn gisteren vroeg vertrokken naar chefchaouen. Dit is een klein stadje in de bergen, alles is in blauw geschilderd. (indigo). Tour gehad en wezen lunchen. Dik uur moeten wachten op eten en drinken. Maar was een lekkere taco(soort borito).
Daarna 5 uur gereden naar Rabat via Tanger.
Kwamen laat aan in Rabat. We zaten lekker te eten. Liep een vervelende man rond bij andere café. Werd steeds weg gestuurd, kreeg ook klappen. Even later stond hij naast szandor voor eten te schooien, szandor duwde hem met 1 hand weg en kreeg later weer klappen van andere.
Vandaag rondleiding gehad in oude rabat. Paleis en wat heilige gebouwen. In Rabat staat ook een bekende moskee die nooit is afgewerkt.
We zijn nu weer onderweg naar Meknes. Hier krijgen we een rondleiding en na de lunch rijden we door naar Fes.
Meknes is een oude stad wat vroeger de hoofdstad was. Er staan 3 vestigings muren om de oude stad heen. Leuke medina.
Daarna zijn we naar oude Romeinse ruïnes van Volubilis geweest. Erg indrukwekkend. En toen naar Fes gereden. We waren rond half 9 in het hotel

[message] => Gisteren zijn we vertrokken naar Casablanca, ongeveer 3 uur rit. Zoals in de naam witehuizen, dat zijn bijna allemaal. Ze hebben een deel Marokkaanse huizen maar ook invloeden van Franse huizen, daar zijn wel bakonnen. De Marokkaanse huizen hebben dat niet, vanwege privacy. Op zich een oke stad voor 1 dag. We zijn in de moskee Hassan 2e geweest. Dat is de enigste moskee in marokko waar je als tourist in mag, alleen schouders en knieën moesten bedekt zijn, geen hoofddoek verplicht. En 3e na grootste moskee ter wereld. Was de 2e maar er is 1 gebouwd in de afgelopen tijd in Arabië die net groter is. Erg mooie moskee aan de buitenkant an binnenkant.
Voor de rest weinig te beleven voor touristen.
Vandaag met de trein van Casablanca naar Tanger. 2 uur en 10 minuten met de hoge snelheidstrein. Ziet er erg netjes uit.
De gids die we hadden was oke. Het leek te vaak dat hij het zo op las uit een boekje.
Er mooie stad Tanger. Heeft ook een medina. (oude stad) vele leuke winkels met eigen gemaakte tapijten in allerlei kleuren en maten. Niet te opdringerige mensen.

[message] => Vandaag tour gehad in Marrakech. Nieuwe dingen van dichtbij gezien en de soeks waar we de eerste 2 dagen al gelopen hebben.
Oudste moskee van dichtbij gezien, die op bijna alle foto's staat. Niet te missen dus.
Tuinen bekeken in moderne marrakesh.
Terug in hotel lekker gebakje gegeten. Nou ja was bij de eennalaatste framboos en draaide die om, zat er een rups in. Heb ik weer. Kreeg ik een ander gebakje, dit keer maar zonder fruit uit gekozen.

Opgehaald door taxi en bij het zwembad gezeten. Het wordt hier met de dag heter in Marrakech. Het is nu 32 graden. Einde van de week 40 graden. Maar dan zitten we gelukkig ergens boven in marokko.

[message] => Zondag avond laat aangekomen in hotel. Maandag wat oude restaurant/cafés bezocht die we 5 jaar geleden ook bezocht hebben.
Jammer genoeg was 1 restaurant er niet meer. Maar de rest hebben we gevonden. Veel veranderd in Marrakech. Prijzen zijn erg gestegen. Maar de restaurants zijn ook aardig gemoderniseerd. Gelukkig kennen ze nu ook thee zonder suiker en honing. Nog altijd de lekkere Marokkaanse pannenkoeken. En de lekkere tajine. Op El fnaa is het nog altijd behoorlijk druk in de avond. Jammer genoeg nog steeds de aapjes eb slangen.
Morgen begint onze tour. Nog 2 dagen Marrakech en dan gaan we naar casablanca.

[message] => In de loop van de ochtend is er heel hectische bedrijvigheid, Om ons goed voor te bereiden op de douane op het vliegveld, moeten de eigenaren van de campers een verklaring op zak hebben, dat de camper achter blijft, het kenteken is gekoppeld aan het paspoort. Dit is een belangrijke zaak en er verschijnen kleine kantoortjes op de campingtafels, waar de kopieen van groene kaart, kentekenbewijs, paspoort en inklaringsbewijs aan de aanvraag wordt geniet. Reisbegeleider Gerard gaat met Mohammed naar de Douane en komt terug met 84 geldige verklaringen.
Onderhand zijn RB –ers Ton, Henk en Johan op verzoek van de manager lokaties gaan controleren op de mogelijkheid om 84 campers te stallen.
Na weer een conference- call met het Crisis-team NKC is het besluit gevallen: de 84 campers vertrekken in 2 dagdelen naar Camping Relais de Marrakech, enkele kilometers verderop. Dat betekende in enkele uren opruimen en verkassen.
Gefaseerd vertrokken de campers en kregen hun definitieve locatie. Onder de bomen bij het mooie zwembad hadden we weer een restjes – bijeenkomst, zelfs met gehatballetjes van Melis en 2 lekkere stukken kaas en worst en alcoholische versnaperingen.
Ook nu was het bij velen BBQ-time!

[message] => De reisbegeleiding heeft iedereen geadviseerd om over de tolweg terug te gaan naar Camping Ferdaous in Marrakech, waar de verzamelplaats van de 84 campers was.
De goed aangelegde weg van Agadir naar Marrakesh doet ons snel rijden, half 2 arriveerden we, de een na de andere camper komt de camping oprijden, en zoekt zijn eigen groep op. Wetende dat we de vriezer/koelkast moesten leeg eten hebben er veel reisgenoten de BBQ neergezet en de laatste waszakken worden door Abdul in ontvangst genomen. Er is bedrijvigheid alom, en Abdul verkoopt graag grote tassen aan de deelnemers.
